More Wanderings

While I've been absent, it seems Caledon has linked itself with Winterfell, never haveing been there too often, I decided to look around, I visited Absynthe first. and wandered around the dark houses and ruins.

Starting off from Caledon, just waiting for my ride to Winterfell


A creepy house, there were quite a few bats flittering around


Mysterious ruins? it looked like they were in the process of being excavated, seeing noone around, I decided to snoop..


Skulls? oh dear..

After being chased away from the site by an odd, fish-like man, I came across a gypsy camp, where I relaxed a bit by the fire. Absynthe sure is an odd place...

Today I decided to test the range of the Moon gun.


Aiming it northward, so as to avoid the edges of the world. I coordinated the trajectory to hopefully land in either Tanglewood or Eyre. Then I prepped the shell and boarded..

After a breif countdown (321GO!) I slammed my paw on the button and fired the gun.


BOOM!!!! I sailed through the air over greystroke, up, over the Steamsky city, eventually losing Caledon through the clouds as the ground fell away. The readings in the capsule indicated that i was approaching Eyre, still with no descent, past Eyre, i left Caledon completely, a soared over Winterfell , and soon past that as well, soon I saw the names of lands i never heard of, Bunny Islands, Karamoon, Sexorga? as I sailed through the air, everything suddenly went dark, at this point i felt it was time to evacuate, shouldering my parachute, I bailed out of the capsule, but seemed caught in a void! it was only after careful manipulation of the chute, i was able to return to Caledon safe and sound.

Returned to Caledon after months of leave

I am finally back at Caledon after many RL things kept me away for months. and seems like we're now bigger, as well as connected with another land, I'll have to explore and find all that I've missed.
