Interesting few days

As I've spent more time on the new sea, I've seen quite a few designs of ships, sailed some more, and sank even more.
I was out sailing the seafox, my little boat, when a pirate ship came up and began firing at me, it turned out to be Gnarli and his crew of penguins. Shortly after that, he and Mr. Trenton compared ironclads, huge, metalbound ships, they must have felt the need to compensate for something.

It had been the next night, when Mr. Equine McMillian offered to show me his engine,
not fully sure what it's powering yet, but it was impressive enough, with a wheel that as it spun was strangely.....hypnotic....... 0-o

How'd i end up here?!

Finally, just the other night, everyone was in Cymru showing off all sorts of contraptions and vehicles, where i attempted again, to get my Martian warmachine to do more than just stand there, with no success.

The Life Aquatik

Now that Caledon has a sea apparently, everyone felt the need to see it. To see the sea, so to speak. Having just gotten more or less a new look, i joined the crowds suddenly interested in all matters aquatic.
I more or less arived at one of the small islands contained withing, where an inprovised party was underway, with some familiar faces, and some new ones, I met the squaintance of a Mr. Pertwee.
A fox like myself, but of the more reddish variety. After I managed a few photos, Mr. Pertwee asked me to dance, having never watlzed before and wearing large-ish boots, I was worried on stepping on toes, but he turned out to be just as bad a dancer as i was. And maybe it was a glitch in the danceballs, or our awful dance skills combined, but we began spinning uncontrollably. As we spun like a canine tornado, the friction on the ground caused a fire to break out, possibly the action of spinning creating air resistance around us is what kept the flames from reducing us to ashes, but eventually we were able to slow down a bit. A breif trip to Vic City to show off my temporarily improvised workshop, and the flightpack MK. II, and a trip to Mayfair for him to show off his hats and capes, it seemed the exertions of the day caused my engine to crash, and would not turn back on for a few hours.

Once I was finally able to logg back on, I took out my sailboat for the first time, and after a few crashes into the same house on the shoreline of Matfair, finally moored at another of the small, as yet unnamed islands. Where, after inviting Gnarli to come along in exploring, I met the aquaintance of and Admiral Sin, and a Dr. Figaro. The admiral didn't stay for very long, but the good Doctor showed us her Junk, a ship of oriental make. and gave us a short demo of the Red Cross's new Hoppers. We went for a sail in her junk, when Gnarli seemed to have a flashback to a former life as Blackbeard and taking his own ship, fired his cannons on us, miraculously, they all missed, though I think his own ship sank under it's own power, as he returned to the island on a makeshift raft. Riding around Caledon on Gnarli's raft, was decided to head to Lock Averie to see if we can spot Nessie, after much floating about searching, we saw over the distance, a large shape raise over the water, we followed the creature a bit before it finally submerged and was lost. At this point, falling asleep on the rough planks, I said my goodbyes and headed home and slept.

Driving Test

After some time surfing on a far off island named after atmospheric phenomenon, I returned to Caledon wringing salt water from my tail. Recently I've aquired a new machine, some sort of Tesla Rover, I unpacked the thing, and took it for it's first drive in Primverness. After a bouncing, jostling, hecktic ride, I finally rode into Vic City, and immediately smashed into a column in front of the Guv'nah's Mansion...

So I discretely sneaked away, hoping no-one would notice the new ornamentation to the building.

After a while of working on the flightpack Mk II (currently it makes the user zip out of control across all of Caledon, and out to the mainand). I joined with The Squirming Discomfort, Gnarlihotep, as he seemed to be planning some graverobbing in the moors. After being shut up in an empty crypt with Gnarli sitting on the lid (not so pleasent, the crypt was fairly dusty)
he left a small rabbit inside, wether this was to appease any possible vampires residing inside with a late night snack, or to try and create an army of vampire bunnies, who can tell what goes on in that head.

after I managed to get out, I don't think I wounded him too much
(Edit: I did take a picture of the rabbit, but strangely he did not show in the image, perhaps he was a vampire bunny afterall...)

The Wooden Juggernaught

I had been out yesterday, riding in my own peddle powered mini-zepplin over Caledon. As I was over the highlands, I received the message on he aethernet that a large battleship had appeared at the border between Lionsgate and Tanglewood, and that it was made of wood. Changing my course, i went to see for myself. As I arrived, I saw the ship quite clearly from a distance, landing my craft on it's deck, I wandered for a bit.

Eventually I came across the owner, a Mister Viderian Vollmar, as he was discussing the ship with a few other oglers, a Mr. Mordecal Scraggs, and a Miss who's name escapes me at the moment.
As we talked, eventually Miss ImsosorryIforgetnamessoeasily had to take her leave, as a large clanking construct ambled over in her place. Whatever it was, the metal man must have been an engineering marvel.

As the discussion turned back to the battleship, wich apparently when completed, will be part of Caledon's navy, Mr. Scaggs offered all a ride on the amphibious transport craft he was working on. It resembled a gravey boat to be honest.

It was an interesting ride, until a harsh wind blew it upside down and I found myself falling practically under the world. Eventually I made my way back to the battleship, and seeing noone else on board, took to wandering Tanglewood, as i had never really spent much time there yet. Soon I received an invite from Mr. Vollmar at his home, witch apparently he had just moved in, and so furnishings were sparse, at this point, the automoton, a Mr. Lucious Sin, in a more human appearance, took his leave. Mr. Vollmar showed me around Tanglewood a bit, introducing me to a shoe making fae, Kandace Commons she seemed friendly, if a bit shy. then after a ride on the ferry and subsequent launch into the air and crash, Mr. Vollmar suggested we crash a ball held in Loch Avie by a Lady Eva Bellambi. At this point we had missed the formal part, (not that I'm very formal to begin with) and it was in full on rave mode, with many in tartans. I was given a set of tarten mouse ears, so even i had some tarten going. Miss Amber and Mr. Book were there already, though Miss Amber hadn't gone nude quite yet, and even Mr. Gnarli soon arrived as well, as everyone danced, drank, and howled, I eventually needed my sleep and took my leave.

This is a continuation of my last entry.

Yesterday I spent most of the day fine tuning the Flightpack Mk II, it flies well enough, but leaves so much smoke that I can't see where I'm headed.

I visited Lacy Amber in her gardens to see if she had anymore tips, she was entertaining a visitor and explaining Caledon to him when i arrived. Inviting us for a buggy ride, we piled on, only for an axle to break. Going onto plan two, we boarded the baroness's Zepplin, and despite the loss of the visitor, (whom I fear fell overboard, hopefully he was wearing his parachute) we were off, flying over the moors. It was a very impressive ride, much better than my own pedal powered blimp, but loud as well, I had to shout to be heard over the engines.

Flying over Caledon Cay, we flew lower, as we had picked up Gnarli and a crowd on the zepplin's detection system. Landing, we entered a small gallery and shop, eventually workign our way upstairs to where they were all dancing and celebrating, it was apparently Mr. Able's rezzday.
Soon everyone was dancing and enjoying themselves amongst Cthulian creatures, saytrs, aristocrats, otters, shoggoths, and a very drunk fox. After imbibing enough, Miss Amber suddenly de-garbed herself and started dancing in her knickers. Maybe it was the absynthe talking, but I shortly followed suit, witch then lead to one of our fellow celebrants bringign up a good point, When you're covered in fur, does it really make a difference? While I'll admit to having seen some fellow furs with their more intimate regions showing in other lands, I fear they are suffering from a case of the mange.

Eventually I needed my rest, so I wished Gnarli a happy rezzday, said my goodbyes and returned to my borrowed workshop to sleep off the liquor.
Well, the last few days were eventful. After witnessing a Martian attack on Tamrannoch, (where, after everyone panicked and fired multiple times into the air, it turned out to be a Mr. O'Toole taking a captured flyer left over from the invasion, for a joyride) I went to work on my flightpack. Having taken Miss Amber's advice to heart, I had been working on the prototype to improve the design. Due to my lack of a proper workshop, I went to an area outside of caledon to develop it, I found myself pounded by what appeared to be watermelons, apparently the locals there didn't appreciate my being in their territory. After the attack, I was then offered room and board by Lady Amber Palinowski, in return for services to be determined at a later time.

Armed, and Dangerous

I quickly set up shop in a little used building owned by the Lady Amber within the Victoria City.
And after working for a bit, I needed a break. Taking my airship to the Steamsky City, I showed the pack to Miss Falcon, the venusian who has been building a tesla coil there.

Having visited for a bit, I soon was on my way again to leave her to her work.
Wandering into the Moors, I decided to exoplore the mines.
It was an interesting tril, they were full of crystals, and some element I am unfamiliar with, Carbonium or somesuch. The real part of interest is the abyss, the lowest part of the mine, where what appears to be strange ruins and writings have bee found

Caledon by Air

Having just recently recieved a small airship, I took it for a test ride over most of Caledon.
Aside from the fog in some areas, and when i was briefly caught in a tree top, it was an enjoyable ride. Then, once I was over the Moors, the engine died, and so, I was stuck for a time a few hundred feet off the ground, and me without my parachute. After a few minutes of tinkering with the machine (consisting of much kicking the sides and cursing, I was so unladylike, fortunatly noone else was that high up to witness), I noticed it was slowly lowering itself anyway, Apparently with the engine stopped, there is nothing keeping the airbags inflated.
